Prestige

Prestige

Given as a numerical score.  Can go negative.  Also as a Prestige Rank I - V

Use prestige to make social, political, bureaucratic, academic, underworld or civil actions.  Each action you want to take requires a certain amount of prestige, which is then expended.  Prestige is limited to an urban area, though transmits weakly across any communication channel that connects urban areas together, e.g., roads.

Actions before an audience that can spread the word of that action to the leaders in a particular area named previously can increase or decrease prestige.  GM defines this value based on its impact, audience reach, and difficulty of the action to take.
  • Small actions provide up to 5
  • Medium up to 15
  • Large up to 25
  • Top tier actions can provide up to 50 or more

Titles, class levels and even specific magic items can provide small amounts of Prestige as well.  Consult the GM for details on a case by case basis.

Prestige ranks can only be earned, with the exception of Rank I.  It can also be purchased with an accumulation of 300 prestige.  Ranks provide a passive amount of Prestige every month.

Rank I provides 100 Prestige monthly.
